Our dear friend Dev Mazumdar, from 4Front Technologies, sold our XMMS.ORG domain without asking the XMMS community.

The old XMMS.ORG website, now maintained by Doug Collins, hosts a fake copy of the XMMS website with an added Answers section linking to a fake FAQ created to generate AdSense revenue. There is of course no guarrantee that the code distributed on that domain does not contain malware.

As a gesture of gratitude for his long-lasting generosity (he “invested a lot of money in XMMS.org”, after all), we will be hosting the XMMS project on DEVMAZUMDAR.COM from now on.
